I will drive to Racine for a good Kringle! When I think of Wisconsin bakery, I must admit the Kringle comes to mind first. It is Wisconsin’s official state pastry!
This distinct pastry was brought to Wisconsin by Danish immigrants in the mid 19th century.
The pastry is flaky, buttery and absolutely delicious.
You have two filling options: Sweet Pecan or Strawberry/Rhubarb with Cream Cheese. You wont be disappointed with either!
If you don’t plan on eating the entire Kringle, you can freeze and save for a later day.
