Sweet potato pie is a southern classic. In the debate between pumpkin vs sweet potato, I’m going to always choose sweet potato. This pie is packed with flavor from the sweet potatoes, which I roast beforehand. The filling is creamy, rich, sweet and has a beautiful warmth from all the fall spices. It is baked in a homemade pie crust that is buttery and flaky. It will be impossible to just have one slice!
This pie will be served with an 8 ounce size of whipped cream.
This is a 10 inch pie and will serve 8-12 people.
