These homemade bagels are incredible. They are simple, a little crisp on the exterior, slightly chewy and absolutely delicious.

Bagels have origins in Jewish communities in Poland. In the United States, bagel bakeries opened in cities with large amounts of Jewish immigrants, like New York.

While bagels use simple ingredients, they are made using a special technique. Right before baking you boil the bagel which helps them “poof” out a bit. Instead of sugar, I use an alternative sweetener called Balt Marley syrup. It helps give the bagels their unique taste and flavor.

THE DEFAULT FOR THESE BAGLES IS ASSORTED (an equal mix of each- cinnamon raisin, plain, everything) IF YOU WOULD PREFER A DIFFERENT MIXTURE, FOR EXAMPLE ALL CINNAMON RAISIN PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOUR ORDER NOTES AT CHECKOUT

Don’t Forget the Cream Cheese Schemers. They are homemade and absolutely divine. And while I made them specifically for your bagels, I promise you’ll want to spread them over EVERYTHING!
