Flan is a very popular latin dessert. I would describe traditional flan as a sweet baked custard topped with a caramel sauce. What I found in my research was that in Puerto Rico cream cheese is generally added to flan. I love what the addition of cream cheese does for this dessert. It gives the flan a very creamy texture that slightly resembles cheesecake.

Flan will be sold by the slice.
