This is another dessert that technically did not originate in the south. However, southerns LOVE banana pudding. Everyone makes their pudding a little different. Here is how I do it….It first starts with a rich and creamy homemade vanilla pudding. I then layer in banana slices that have been dipped in lemon (this helps prevent browning) followed by a layer of vanilla wafer cookies, more pudding, more cookies, more bananas and finally topped with homemade whipped cream. It’s sweet, creamy and absolutely delicious. It will go fast! You might want to order more than one 🙂

The pudding is served in an 8 ounce container.
